TDX Corporate Cakes and Champange
We were recently asked by TDX to create an amazing tower of corporate cakes for their office relocation party in Nottingham. The cupcakes were finished with a big swirls of pipe iced buttercream in colour palette to match their corporate colours. Finally edible logo toppers were added to half of the cupcakes then we used an 11 tier cupcake stand for displaying all 200 cupcakes. The cupcakes were enjoyed with a glass of champagne!

Our Most Popular Cakes
Over the next few months we will be featuring Heavenly Cupcakes extensive range of wedding, celebration and corporate cupcake designs and sharing with you some of our most popular cakes. Our favourite cake to date far for 2013 has been our pretty pastel striped three tier celebration cake. The bottom layer was a chocolate cake filled with layers of milk, white and dark chocolate ganache. The second tier was banana cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream and the top tier was carrot and orange cake filled with a cream cheese frosting. Just goes to show that stacked cakes don't need to be simple in terms of flavours

Stacked Wedding Cake
Three Tier Wedding Cake
We often have couples who are getting married ask how long it will take to make their wedding cake. The time taken from cake to cake varies depending on the design and the amount of decorations added. All of our sugar decorations are carefully made by hand. I thought it would be good to give you an insight in to the process of stacking the actual cake itself. Dowels are used to support each tier which is held together with royal icing. I have taken a few pictures for you to see. We have already baked, levelled and filled the cakes. This wedding cake was filled and coated with vanilla bean buttercream and then covered with fondant. So here it is the process of stacking a wedding cake!
